A fire broke out at a Historic Or Mizrah Sefardi Synagogue in the Belgrano neighborhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina, completely destroying a new wing of the building. The Synagogue is run by three Chabad Shluchim.

Chabad of the Airport, arranged for a Sukkah to be available for all the passengers and staff of JFK Airport, the airport that services many international flights to Eretz Yisroel. As this was the third consecutive year, a Chazaka, a special event was held to celebrate this special milestone.
Hundreds of Jews are currently stranded in the airport in Barcelona without Kosher food. They were on Norwegian Air Flight number DY7195 from Israel to NY. Thankfully, Chabad of Barcelona headed by Rabbi David Liberson is (as this is being written) preparing hot meals for them.
Meir Michel Abehsera, whom the Rebbe famously instructed to whistle during a farbrengen, wrote a book at the Rebbes request. The Possible Man was published in limited quantities. Today, those original copies can sell for hundreds of dollars as the Abehsera family has just relaunched the book on Amazon.
President Reuven Rivlin gave the mandate to form the next government to Blue and White leader Benny Gantz Wednesday night. The mandate was passed on to Gantz after Prime Minister Netanyahu announced that he was unable to form a coalition and returned the mandate to the president earlier this week.
