The 3rd edition of Hadras Ponim Zokon is out-of-print and to enable the publication of an expanded 4th edition of this celebrated sefer (of approximately 1,150 pages), financial assistance is needed.

In accordance with the Rebbe’s vision for this sefer*, Hadras Ponim Zokon is sold below cost to make it affordable to talmidei yeshiva and many seforim are donated to libraries of yeshivos and shuls and gifted to Rabonim and Roshei Yeshiva. The need for financial support for its publication is thus significant.

To this end, it is imperative that it actually be published and distributed” (Igros Kodesh, vol. 32, p. 133). “It is customary when printing sefarim such as this to provide a discount to yeshiva students, and to publicize that you are doing so.”
Rabbi Shmuel Turk, assistant principal at the United Lubavitcher Yeshiva, Ocean Parkway branch will chair the Kinus committee and Rabbi Yehoshua Lustig, principal of the middle grades at Oholei Torah (Oholei Menachem) will co-chair the 18th Kinus HaMechanchim to be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Danbury, CT on 5-6 Tammuz, July 8th and 9th.

Three precincts with large Hasidic populations, all in Brooklyn, reported the most anti-Jewish hate crimes in 2018. The 71st Precinct, which encompasses part of Crown Heights, reported nine anti-Jewish hate crimes, the most of any precinct. Precincts including Williamsburg and Borough Park each had seven.
Hundreds of Anash and bochurim walked on Shvi’i shel Pesach to over 200 synagogues in the New York City area, including Borough Park, Flatbush, Brighton Beach, Sea Gate, Bensonhurst, Sheepshead Bay, Canarsie, Mill Basin,Howard Beach, Greenpoint, Brooklyn Heights and Manhattan.

With great sadness we inform of the passing of Mrs. Wendy Teller OBM, a member of Anash in London. She passed away at the age of 87.
Beth Rivkah Ladies College in Melbourne, Australia was privileged to welcome a group of old collegians to ‘Alumni Day’ where they awed students with stories of old.
With great sadness we report the passing of Mrs Sarah Glick OBM, a Halocaust survivor and member of the Melbourne Jewish community. She passed away on Sunday the 23rd of Nissan, 5779.
