Crown Heights Woman’s Mikvah Looking For Manager

Looking for a reliable, capable, mature woman to manage a women’s Mikvah in Crown Heights. Managing experience is preferred.

Core duties include:
– Working on site managing 5 evenings a week
– Supervising daily operations plus preparing for the nights you aren’t there
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
– Overseeing staff
– Ordering supplies
– Making sure the facility is cleaned properly
– Making sure all equipment is in working order
– Customer service

The acting District Attorney for Brooklyn, Eric Gonzalez, who is currently filling the position of recently-deceased D.A. Ken Thompson, paid a visit to Crown Heights on Tuesday night to see firsthand the Simchas Beis Hashoeva celebration and meet the community.

Simchas Beis Hashoeva Begins with Kids Dancing

Simchas Beis Hashoeva on Wednesday evening in Crown Heights began with early music and dancing specially catered to little kids. Beginning at 7:30pm Fitche Ben Shimon played music to the delight of hundreds of children who joyously danced with their parents. The main even followed with dancing into the night.
