Signatures in the Final Hour

Today at 7:00pm marked the end of time given to potential candidates to collect and submit their signature sheets in order to be qualified to run for the Vaad Hakohol and Gaboim in the upcoming elections. In a final push, a group of ‘young’ candidates hailing from Beis Shmuel, the Crown Heights Shul, and others stood on Crown and Kingston collecting their final signatures.

NETHERLANDS — On Wednesday April 28, members of the Dutch government apologized to Holland’s Jewish community at the site of the former Westerbork concentration camp.

The Levaya will take place today, Thursday at 1:00pm by Shomrei Hadas and will pass 770 at about 1:45pm.
