JNet Offers the Perfect Gift for the Rabbe’s Birthday

The 11th of Nissan (this year corresponding to Tuesday, April 19th) marks the birthday of the Lubavitcher Rebbe. Honoring this occasion, JNet will be running a study campaign, encouraging all Jews to unite through studying a sicha about the superior quality of Pesach that is highlighted when Pesach occurs on Shabbos (such as during this year).

66 Mitzvah Tanks to Parade in NYC on Rebbe’s Birthday

This coming Tuesday, Yud Aleph Nissan, marks the 114th birthday of the Rebbe. In honor of the occasion, 66 Mitzvah Tanks, corresponding to 66 years of the Rebbe’s leadership, will parade through Manhattan, after which they will spread throughout New York City spreading awareness about Judaism and particularly the observance of Pesach.

Third Volume of The Letter and the Spirit in Stores

Nissan Mindel Mindel publications, directed by Rabbi Sholom and Frida Shapiro, has released a third volume of the popular series The Letter and the Spirit, containing a wide array of the Rebbe’s letters from the archives of Rabbi Dr. Nissan Mindel, a personal secretary to the Previous Rebbe and The Rebbe, whose responsibilities included the Rebbe’s correspondence in English.

Friday: Rally at the Ohel

On Friday, 15 Adar II-Shushan Purim (March 25), there will be a rally at the Ohel for all children ages 5 to 12, featuring raffles and an amazing program. Buses will leave 770 at 11:00am and return at 1:30pm. Transportation will cost $3.

Megillah to Be Read Every Hour on the Hour

Congregation Agudas Yisroel invites all members of the community to hear the reading of the Megilliah this Purim, every hour on the hour. Additional readings for women will occur in 770, and volunteers will visit the homes of those who cannot make it to Shul to read Megillah for them.
