CSSY Launches 24-Hour Campaign for $200,000

On Rosh Hashana 5738 (1977) at a farbrengen, the Rebbe spoke about the mitzvah of Ma’os Chittim, pointing out that the needs of the poor during Tishrei are even greater than during Nissan. He suggested that a fund be established supplying Shabbos and Yom Tov necessities to the needy. Hours later, CSSY – The Organization to Bring Joy on Shabbos and Yom Tov – was born.

Preparing for Gimmel Tammuz with JNet

Alternate Side Rules Suspended Monday-Thursday

Alternate side parking (street cleaning) and parking meter regulations will be suspended on Monday, July 4, for observance of Independence Day. Alternate side parking regulations also will be suspended Tuesday through Thursday, July 5-7, for a Muslim holiday. Parking meter regulations will be in effect on those days.

Tuesday: Rally at the Ohel

On Tuesday, the 15th of Sivan (June 21), there will be a rally at the Ohel for all children ages 5 to 12 featuring a raffle, crafts, refreshments and an amazing program. Buses will leave 770 at 5:00pm and return at 7:45pm. Transportation will cost $3.
