Because Thanksgiving Day is a major legal holiday, parking meter regulations are also suspended. On major legal holidays, stopping, standing, and parking are permitted, except in areas where stopping, standing, and parking rules are in effect 7 days a week (for example, “No Standing Anytime”).

The Friday after Thanksgiving, November 28, is not a holiday, and alternate side parking regulations, parking meter rules, and all other parking regulations will be in effect. .

Come Show Your Support Once Again!

Dear Anash:

We want to thank everyone that came and participated in this very important case of Pidyon Shevuim to help the Rubashkin family. The sentencing phase of this trial was supposed to last for two hours, and it lasted for almost eight hours, the judge postponed the final few minutes of the proceedings to tomorrow morning at 9:30am.

We feel that overwhelming support from the community will have a positive impact on the outcome. We are begging everybody and anybody to please come tomorrow. Plus, if you can, please join Moishe Rubashkin tonight by the Ohel at: 11:00pm.

Again unlike today, we believe that tomorrow’s proceeding will be very short, because all relevant testimony was heard today.

Tomorrow Morning: Rare Opportunity for Pidyon Shevuyim

Dear Anash,

The Rubashkin family is well-known in our community for their Ahavas Yisroel and Tzedakah. Lamentably, charges against them have been complicated by the slander of a few former associates looking for revenge.

Tomorrow morning—Monday, November 3—a Pennsylvania judge will sentence R’ Moshe Rubashkin and his son.

It is not for us to act as judge and jury of our fellow Jews. What we can and must do is stand together in support of truth. In particular, it is our responsibility to show a secular judge, a skeptical legal system and a “gotcha” media that our community does not abandon its own.
