NEW SHIUR! Finish a Perek in Eight Weeks!

Give one hour a week for 8 weeks towards completion of Meseches Megillah Perek Beis under the guidance of Rabbi Michoel Lerner. The goal is to complete the Perek on Tes Zayin Sivan, IY”H. The Shiurim will take place on Monday evenings at 9:15pm (following Maariv) at Eliyahu Nochum – Lefferts Shul (672 Lefferts Ave) begining Chof Vov Nissan. Be sure to join in!

You can make a beracha shehakol bajillions of times a day. You have a chance to say “Baruch… Mechadesh Chadashim” only once a month. We say “Al Biur Chametz” just once a year. But Birchas Hachama comes only once every twenty-eight years. Nobody—not even your old grandfather—has done this mitzvah more than three times. When Birchas Hachama comes around again, you might be as old as your parents are now!

Selfless Giving in Tough Times

A large truck pulled up near 770 last night, unloading a large cache of good quality fruits and vegetables.

Once again, today, a truck is standing at the same location and unloading cases filled with vegetables for all to take. There will be more than one truck starting now [3:30pm] for a few hours, first come first serve.

No questions asked; Feel free to come and take.

Kovetz Limmud for Yud Gimmel Nissan Available

Yud Gimmel Nissan is the Yom Hilulah of the Tzemach Tzedek. Amongst other customs, the Rebbe encouraged that on this day one should learn the Mishnayos related to the name of the Tzemach Tzedek. On this occasion Yagdil Torah has compiled a short booklet with the necessary mishnayos to make your learning simple and easy. Additionally, the Kovetz contains Torah of the Tzemach Tzedek.
