i’m still using mikvahcalender.com – no mistakes there

  • Kudos Taharas Hamishpacha Office

Nothing can surpass your phenomenal print calendar and this online calendar looks like its equal partner. This is just the best!!! You women are amazing!!! An outstanding production!!! Keep going forward with your outstanding accomplishments at Taharas Hmaishpacha! We women need to ensure that they get the financial support they need to continue bringing this most important mitzva to the masses & make its observance as uncomplicated as possible.

  • to hmmm

    could you be more obvious?!?!
did you even try the program before you posted this.

  • Berl

Will someone please explain why there are two websites both launched at the same time providing the same service???

What are the differences? Which one is better?

    Who runs each of them???

    Thank you

fair enough comment, Berl. Mikvah.org’s My Mikvah Calendar is put out by Mikvah.org and Taharas Hamishpacha International, under Machne Israel and Merkos. It was created under supervision of Rav Sholom Ber Chaikin and was released as a fully functional version, beta testing done privately before release. It follows the design and function of the hard copy print calendar they have been producing for the last ten years and is really an amazing program everyone will enjoy using.
    Try it yourself and see.

    to esther about berl:
you assume berl will try it? ahem, he isnt a woman, as i can see from his name

  • Raizel

There are 3 online calendars!! mikvahminder.com. I think they were first though.

Also, since when does Merkos have a monopoly on taharas hamishpacha?

  • Men can also use it.

This Calendar by Mikvah.org is by far the best one I have used. I tried them all. They even have a support number to call them. Also I am used to using the calendar offline and this one is the only one that works the exact same way!

Its so obvious that you are trying to promote other calendars by saying that. Anyone that would test it would see that it works just fine.

  • To Esther & Berl

If it’s a fair enough comment, tell him who makes the other one as well.

Both MyMikvahCalendar.com and MikvahCalendar.com are projects of Lubavitchers, under supervision of Lubavitcher Rabonim.

MyMikvahCalendar.com is from Taharas Hamishpacha International. Details are as above.

MikvahCalendar.com is under supervision of Rabbi Fishel Jacobs and has options for all the various Ashkenazic customs.

    TO HMM :
You make your motive obvious enough that it made me feel unsure about the programs you are obviously promoting. Someone of your ideals who is involved in such a project makes it very unattractive.

Ive been to the Taharas Hamishpacha office many times and it is that they have tremendous mesiras nefesh in their shlichus, deep understanding, clear vision in womens issues, commitment to the Rebbes work and hard hard work (with little or no pay sometimes) to preserve and make accesible the mitzvah of mikvah are what is ultimately steering me in the path of thier online program. They are not after your buck. just help to get to the Rebbes goal!
I know the faces, characters and mesiras nefesh behind the program.
Mrs C S Zarchi is a very special person! If there is someone beeping you down the street its probably her trying to offer you a ride :)and shell even pretend that its exactly the direction she was going so you shouldnt feel bad!

  • Mikvah Calendar for Chabad

So Basically MyMikvahCalendar.com is for Chabad and MikvahCalendar.com is for snags!

  • Rivkah

Mazal Tov! its about time someone came out with a calendar that is user friendly.

  • Col Sucks

Did anyone see the garbage they put on col? crownheights.info is a great site compared to col!

  • Dudi

Its so nice that merkos funded this. Today people keeping taharas hamishpocha can use all the help they can get!

  • Report bugs

    Oy Vey to hmm

Why do you need to report bugs here.

If you really cared you would use the report bug feature on the site.

    to menachem:
i dont know if you know what the mikva calendar is all about and why it is specifically for women.
can anyone fill him in? i dont want to go start talking about things i dont even have exxperience in yet

and to COL sucks, i wonder why CH.info posted your comment. even tho i agree that ch.info is a wonderful website, no need to put down others. maybe tomorow COL will put something that will satisfy you. especially in the sefira its not nice and not appropiate to show ‘sinas chinam’

and on a final note, i thank CH.info for taking off the security code when everyone comments. it used to be that before you can send any comments, you have to confirm the ”captcha challenge” by copying whatever it says ontop usually something like ”SFD877″ and its hard to read it right, now CH.info took it off. i really appreciate it :)

  • Menachem

    To THM

Its not sinas chinom to say a fact that COL sucks… Its a fact and its not about a person. Its about a website that causes machlokes for no reason. There is no one person who represents it that would cause problems like sinas chinom. Also just because I think a website sucks doesnt mean I hate it. Maybe you just like to preach… In that case keep preaching!
