In a community wide initiative encouraging women to make their health a top priority, the Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka Bikur Cholim of Crown Heights, in conjunction with Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center and Brooklyn Healthy Living Partnership, invites the women of Crown Heights to participate in a Healthy Woman’s Screening; Sunday, June 6, 2010 at Kingsbrook’s newly renovated, state of the art Radiology Department on 585 Schenectady Avenue between Winthrop and Rutland.

Honda Issues Recall Notice for 2007-08 Odyssey Minivans

Honda Motor Company has recently issued a recall that affects one of the most common car used by Jewish families, its Odyssey minivan. The issues is the brake pedal getting soft over time and not stopping the car properly.

There is a minor typo in the CrownHeights.info 5770 calendar Shabbos Parshas Behar-Bechukotai candle lighting time. The calendar lists this week candle lighting for 7:04, when in fact it’s 7:40 this week; 36 minutes before the actual candle lighting time.
