Kosher or not, this sukkah by Chabad Chossid Michoel Moskovski is definitely creative, and downright scary. The Sukkah, which in past years brought backlash when built in front of the apartment building, was built by Moskovski hanging from his sixth floor balcony. A word to the wise, don’t try this at home.

‘We All Belong’ – In The Sukkah. The old city Jewish art center in Center City Philadelphia now has a unique Sukkah thanks to artist Yitzckah Moully. Inspired by the idea that the Mitzvah of Sukkah does not give any limitations on the size that a Sukkah can be, Moully envisioned the Sukkah that is inviting to all.

It has become an annual tradition of artist Yitzchak Moully to create a new Shofar painting Erev Rosh Hashanah after mid day. This year, while mentally prepared to paint this important piece, he wasn’t able to get to it before Rosh Hashanah due to other obligations. So yesterday, he completed “Shofar 5781,” a 4ft x 6ft acrylic painting on canvas.

After 6 months of fear, pain, and the unknown, the children of Rabbi Yudi Dukes were finally allowed into the hospital to see their father, feel his embrace, and to receive a personal blessing for Rosh Hashana from him in person. Geoffrey Davis lived in Crown Heights in his youth and has a story of the Rebbe to tell that touched him until this very day. So inspired, he wrote a comic book about the incident, which ultimately became an animated video on YouTube with over one Million hits. Davis made a stop on to visit Rabbi Naftali Sirota who drives the Crown Heights’s Jewish Library Bus, and donated a copy of his book to the library.
