Yom Kippur is now behind us, but one chicken was left behind, hanging around Eastern Pkwy between Kingston and Albany is a lone chicken that was being chased by young children. A concerned resident told CrownHeights.info that he was working with Animal Control and the NYPD to find a new home for the poor chicken. ;-)

Driving past 770 at 1:00am I was treated to a bizarre and shocking display of complete disregard of safety and people being reduced to the lowest levels of what standards we regard as ‘normal living’.

Nearly 50 young Israeli girls crammed into the back of a box truck along with luggage were being transported from 770 to a house on President and New York where they will be staying for the month of Tishrai.

770 in snow, this morning.

Forecasts predicted that we would get some snow fall today, in the spring a week away from Pesach. Well it came down covering cars and grass patches, for a few hours. By the time the afternoon came around it all began melting.

The snowfall this morning brought the total to 40 inches of snow for this winter and it is the 4th consecutive winter that we got over 40 inches, compared to the average of 28.8 for the average winter.
