Schlomo
why is this "news"?
shloima
can anyone say what the dd in the rebbes license pate meant? ie dd770?
DD770
DD stands for Doctor of Divinity it stands for Clergy
Anonymous
shloima:
DD is an abbreviation of “Doctor of Divinity”. i.e. Rabbi.
Schlomo:
It isn’t! It’s just a picture of the day.
Webby,
me
yo bro lookin good in the first pic!!!!!!!!!!!! love ya!
Zchus
wow what a zchus to fix the Rebbe’s car
where it belongs
good. that the vehicle is servicesed where it should be. i once took my car to a place on utica, about across the car wash there. the Ganev proudly told me that he is the mechanic of the rebbes car. then he ripped me off. then the alternater he supposedly replaced dident work. i hoped Rabbi Binyomin Klien wouldent use him anymore, and now i am glad to hear that The Car is being taken care of where it belongs, in a auto shop of crown heights and with the fine skill and talent of our own.
keep it up hershkops!
yossi
where was the car serviced? i can use someone good. we want mosiach now. THANK YOU
moshiach now
people who sevice the car should be weairing a hat and jacket escpecialy shomer shabbos they should go to the mikveh before its kedusha the rebbe would want to see chasidish people servicing his car its not simple thing we should be zoche to have the rebbe back ad mosai
Old Timer
What ever happened to the Rebbes original car (Krinskys)
ISchier
The memories….MOSHIACH NOW!
sorry to burst your bubble
this is Binyomins private car which he also used to drive the Rebbe
IY H
Just a thought….
Maybe there should be a newer, more upgraded car ready for the Rebbe to use IY"H! At least a more recent model than a thirty+ year car
chana

To Chana:
Nothing was wrong. Cars need Maintenane.
a sneek peek into Everything Automotive
I saw some towels hanging on the wall right when you walk in to the shop. They were damp. They must have been used for going to the Mikveh before touching the car.
confused
didn’t Rabbi Krinsky drive the Rebbe around? is this that same car, or is this Rabbi Klien’s car?
Hat and Jacket
someone asked "where is their hat, jacket and gartel?"
I dont think the Rebbe would be happy to hear that someone ruined their hat and jacket while working on his car. I’m sure that before fixing the car they made sure to daven with a hat and jacket – thats what counts.
Gartel? those guys could very well be single, or if they are married, I think the belt qualifies as a gartle.
keep it up mechanics!!
H. Schmorgelborgel
it’s sad to think that people seriously believe that the mechanics should go to the mikveh prior to servicing an automobile. i see nothing wrong with preserving the car for historical and archival purposes as the rebbe Z”TZL was undoubtedly an important figure in Jewish history. however, his car is not a holy relic to be venerated. it’s just a car. crazy meshichisten get that through your crazy heads.

why are you getting so offended i dont think they meant it so litrally
