At a wedding that took place last night in Lakewood, New Jersey, Rabbi Levy, the head of the OK Kosher Organization, met his Rosh Yeshiva from 53 years ago. A member of Moetzet Gedolah HaTorah in America a Gaon Rabbi Shmuel Kamenetzky, the Rosh Yeshiva of Philadelphia. At the brief meeting, Rabbi Kamenetzky praised the work of the OK.

Illness Doesn’t Disrupt Israeli Children’s Summer Fun

It’s Firefighting Day at the Lev Chabad day camp at Meir Hospital, and four-year-old Shira Maatuf is impatient for activities to begin. She has been in the hospital for a few days with a lung infection and while it interrupted her carefree summer vacation, for Shira, the Lev Chabad activities at Meir Hospital are more than an acceptable substitute. The organization’s day camps offer a fun and meaningful alternative to what would otherwise be long, tedious and lonely days spent in a hospital ward.

Los Angeles Children’s Minyan Welcomes New Sefer Torah

Hundreds of men, women and children gathered together to welcome in a very special Sefer Torah, the first of its kind in the rapidly growing community of Pico-Robertson. Rabbi Eli Hecht, Shliach of the Rebbe In Lomita California and family donated the brand new Sefer Torah to be used exclusively for Kol Avrohom, the exciting children’s program and youth Minyan, run at Bais Bezalel Chabad by Rabbi Zalmy Hecht.
