Chabad of the Valley celebrated its 46th year in the greater S. Fernando Valley in a Concert Gala titled “B’YACHAD” – Connecting, Empowering, Advancing – Together. The evening which took place at Chabad of the Valley Headquarters in Tarzana, featured acclaimed Broadway entertainer Dudu Fisher in concert.
As the year came to a close the Morah’s and Rebbeim of Oholei Torah were surprised with a scrumptious brunch, which was sponsored by R’ Shloimy and Mirele Greenwald, parents of the yeshiva.

At least 20 fires started by incendiary balloons sent from Gaza were burning in southern Israel on Thursday. Some officials put the number of fires set from Thursday morning until late Thursday afternoon at 24, the largest number of fires started by the arson balloons in one day since the attacks became an almost daily occurrence last spring, the Times of Israel reported.

Rabbi Yisroel Goldstein of Chabad of Poway addressed the UN General Assembly this morning during a special session on combating anti-Semitism. “Anti-Semitism is not a Jewish problem, this is a problem for the world,” said the rabbi, his left hand still bandaged where his index finger was blown off in an anti-Semitic attack on his synagogue eight weeks ago. He discussed recognizing the value of every human life, using social media as a platform for love and flooding the world with practical good deeds.
