Thousands of Shluchos are expected to take part in the annual Kinus this weekend, with registration opening Wednesday evening. Shluchos greeted each other – many of whom have not seen one another since the last Kinus!
Tonight, Wednesday, the International Kinus Hashluchos begins with thousands of Shluchos from around the world descending on Crown Heights. With international unrest one of the primary concerns is safety, and the NYPD beefed up its presence.

Bleachers are set up overnight in anticipation of the Kinus HaShluchim group portrait this morning. The bleachers were borrowed from the Bobover Chasidim in Boro Park.
