Thousands of Tishrei Guests Farbreng with Reb Yoel

Guests staying in Crown Heights over the month of Tishrei welcomed in the new year with a farbrengen hosted by Vaad Talmidei Hatmimim. They Farbrenged with Rabbi Sholom Duchman of Colel Chabad and Rabbi Menachem Kenig, the Menahel of Tomchei Temimim Lod.
Every evening, following a day full of learning, the Vaad Talmidei Hatmimim organizes farbrengens for the guests. With the beginning of the month of Tishrei just days away a farbrengen was lead by Rabbi Sholom Zarchi in which he extolled the merit of those who are spending the high holidays in the Rebbes proximity.
The Jewish communities in Paris, France marked Yud Alef Nissan, the birthday of the Rebbe, with Mivtzoim on Mitzvah Tanks and a farbrengen.
Over 300 members of anash and Tmimim in London, England gathered in honor of Chof Beis Shvat, for a special Melaveh Malkah that was held with Rabbi Yosef Greenberg from Alaska who came to London to Farbreng.
Paris Anash community marked Chof Beis Shvat with a farbrengen in the Beis Chaya Mushka community center and school. The farbrenged with area Shluchim.
Chabad of Georgetown, Brooklyn held their annual Chof Beis Shvat Women’s Dinner last night, filling Rabbi Avrohom Holtzberg’s Shul with close to two hundred women. The evening, emceed by Sterny Holtzberg, began with the candle lighting ceremony and the recitation of the Rebbe and Rebbitzins Kapital said by the Shlucha Rebbitzin Shulamis Holtzberg.

In honor of the special day of Yud Shvat, which this year commemorates sixty eight years of our Rebbe’s leadership, a grand “Shabbos of Hiskashrus” took place in Moscow. It’s central focus was the students of all the Tomchei Tmimim Yeshivos of Moscow, and was also attended by members of Anash, shluchim, community members and many other guests.
Over a dozen farbrengens were held throughout Crown Heights in honor of Yud Shvat, with farbrenges led by Rabbi Leibel Groner at one location, and Rabbi Mordechai Gurari and Nissan Mangel at another, and even a farbrengen for teachers with Rabbi Akiva Wagner.
A large and diverse crowd of Chassidim of all stripes and colors converged on the Auditorium Hall in the Ramat Elchanan neighborhood in the Torah city of Bnei Brak. There, a special conference was taking place in honor of the yahrtzeit of the founder of Chabad Chassidus, author of the Tanya and Shulchan Aruch, known as the Alter Rebbe.
Well over a thousand Jews of all stripes gathered together in Boro Park on Motzei Shabbos to celebrate Yud Tes Kislev, the Yahrtzeit of the Mezritcher Maggid and Yom Hageulah of the Alter Rebbe.
The Rebbe’s Chief Chozer, the veteran Mashpia Reb Yoel Kahan, travelled to Israel to Farbreng with the students of the Chabad Yeshiva in Kiryat Gat in honor of Yud Tes Kislev.
Hundreds of Jews from all over Antwerp, Belgium, participated in the chain of Chasidic events organized in honor of Yud Tes Kislev – Chag HaGeula, by Anwerp’s Chabad House under the leadership of Belgium’s Head Shliach Rabbi Shabtai Slavaticki.
In honour of Yud Tes Kislev, Through Chabad of Sydney and Agudas Chasidei Chabad in New York, Rabbi Mendel Deren of Jerusalem made the significant journey to Sydney Australia to be “Mechazek” and help inspire the city.
While marking the Yom Tov of Yud Tes Kislev at a Farbrengen, the community of Congregation Shule celebrated an amazing milestone of one of their members – his completion of studying the entire Shas, an endeavor which took him over 12 years.
Hundreds gathered for a festive Yud-Tes Kislev farbrengen in the Chabad House of the Georgetown neighborhood of Brooklyn, headed by the local shliach, Rabbi Avraham Holtzberg. Following Chabad tradition, the participants were invited to partake of a festive meal in honor of the occasion.
