Rabbi Michoel Seligson at the Farbengen with the Shluchim of the Metro DC area held in Bethesda Maryland

On Shabbos Parshas Vayishlach, in honor of Yud Tes Kislev there was a shabbaton in Gaithersburg, MD which was organized by the Shluchim Rabbi Sholom Raichik and Rabbi Chesky Tenenbaum, Rabbi Michoel Seligson Fabrenged and kept the assembled spellbound with Chassidic thoughts and stories. During the two meals many people attended and stayed for hours to Farbreng.

On Motzoai Shabbos Rabbi Seligson Farbrenged with the Shluchim of the DC metro area. Over 15 Shluchim from Virgina, Washington and Maryland area attended. The Farbrengen went on until the wee hours of the morning.

Yud Tes Kislev Farbrengen in South Florida

They came from near and from far to partake in the celebration at The Shul of Bal Harbour. Close to 700 strong attended the Farbrengen and were moved by the words of Chassidus of the Rebbe’s Shliach to the upper Midwest, Rabbi Moshe Feller and were inspired by the depth and richness of the Alter Rebbe’s niggunim performed by the Menagen Mayer Rivkin.

Rabbi Sholom Lipskar, the Rebbe’s Shliach, founder and spiritual leader of The Shul of Bal Harbour, welcomed the assembled and explained the significance and deep meaning of this joyous day. Segments of the new JEM production “The Early Years” were then shown, to the delight of all.

Over 2500 Yaldei Hashluchim Worldwide Connect VIA The Web

In honor of Yud Tes Kislev, the Chinuch Yaldei Hashluchim division of The Shluchim office took their international rally via phone-conference up a major notch, by broadcasting the rally over the web.

Young Shluchim worldwide participated in the first worldwide web rally and were able to virtually meet their friends and family from around the world. The web rally proved to be a great way to impart the importance of the day to the children, by making the web rally a hi-tech global farbrengen. “This is a great example of utilizing modern technology for ruchnius,” said the master of ceremonies of the web rallies, Rabbi Yaakov Tzvi Kantor.

Special Yud Tes Kislev Farbrengen With Rabbi Refson

Once a month the Bochurim of Yeshivas Lubavitch of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina go on a Shabbaton to a different Chabad House as part of the Shlichus Training courses. This past Shabbos the Bochurim with the Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Sholom Ber Shuchat went to Atlanta & Athens, both in the state of Georgia. The Bochurim spent Shabbos with the Chabad community of Atlanta, and on Motzoei Shabbos they went for a Farbrengen by the Shliach to Athens, Rabbi Michoel Refson.

Yud Tes Kislev in Vancouver

There was a large turnout for the annual Yud Tes Kislev Celebration Dinner in Vancouver, BC. Around 100 people attended from around Vancouver, Richmond, Surrey and more. The Talmidei Hashluchim ran the event, from the MC, to making a Siyum on the Tanya and Shas.

The Head Shliach to Vancouver, Rabbi Y. Wineberg spoke about the advantage and point of what is Chassidus, and why we need it. The guest speaker was Rabbi Naftoli Astulin, who spoke about what the Rebbe said that everyone can change the world by increasing in even one small act of goodness and kindness. After he spoke, he gave out his famous $2 bills.

Yud Tes Kislev in Tucson Arizona

Harav Hamashpia Mendy Lipskier from Chandler Arizona was brought down to Farbreng with the Bochurim of Yeshiva High School Tucson under the direction of R. Betzalel Wilshnasky. Stories of the Alter Rebbe were told as well as many concepts in Chassidus. It was a very inspiring Farbrengen.

Yud Tes Kislev at Mesivta Menachem, Buffalo NY

Every year, in the true spirit of “Chassidim zeinin ein mishpacha”, Anash from all over Buffalo come to celebrate the Rosh Hashanah of Chassidus together with the bochurim of Mesivta Menachem. This year the Mesivta hosted its largest crowd yet. Rabbi Sholom Ber Lispker, mashpia in Chovevei Torah was the guest speaker. As has become the tradition at the Yud Tes Kislev farbrengen, a number of local ballei battim also shared words of inspiration with the bochurim.

Rosh Chodesh Kislev in Chicago

The annual Chicago Rosh Chodesh Kislev Seudah was held on Tuesday evening in Chicago. More than 250 men, women and children assembled in great anticipation of another fantastic Rosh Chodesh Seudah coordinated by Lubavitch Chabad of Illinois and held at Cong. Bnei Reuven.

The theme of this year’s Seudah was Niggunei Chabad with special guest Meir Simcha Rivkin of Florida who recently released his first CD – “Expressions of the Soul”. Accompanied by Musician Avrohom Levine, Meir Rivkin sang a full repertoire of Niggunim inspiring the assembled with depth and richness of Niggunei Chabad. The crowd joined in singing, dancing, and purely enjoying this soulful experience.

The Traditional Farbrengen with Shluchim in 770

As in the past, hundreds of Shluchim filled downstairs 770 last night just after the banquet last night and Farbrengen together with Anash and Bochurim, invigorating one another and inspiring all participants with stories of the Rebbe and Lechaims for four long hours.

The traditional Farbrengen, held in past years in the small ‘zal’ upstairs, was already supplemented by a larger Farbrengen downstairs 770 last year and this was repeated this year. The outstanding Shluchim at this Farbrengen were chairman of the International Aguch, Rabbi Avrohom Shemtov; Rabbi Daniel Moskowitz of Chicago; the Shliach Rabbi Yisroel Deren, Rabbi Zalman Lipskier of Philadelphia, Rabbi Aharon Eliezer Tseitlin of Tsfat, Rabbi Shmuel Lew of London, Rabbi Yossi Groner of South Carolina, Rabbi Yosef Gansburg of Toronto and many many others!

Binghamton, NY — It was supposed to be a night to catch up on all the fun he had missed. It was supposed to be a celebration after finishing his last final exam for the year. It was supposed to just be good old horseplay in the house — while drunk, of course.

The happiest time of the month of Tishrai is Shmini Atzeres/Simchas Torah which’s end is marked with a special Farbrengen on Motzoai Yom Tov, a “Farbrengen With The Rebbe”. Thousands gathered in 770 and sang the Nigunim of the Rabbaim in order.

Farbrengen in the Sukkah of Reb Shloime Drimmer

Rabbi Groner, Mazkir of the Rebbe, Farbrenged in the Sukkah of Reb Shloime Drimmer he told of the Rebbes Minhogim and Yechidusen [private sessions] of older Chassidim that they shared with Rabbi Groner.

Rabbi Groner met his cousin Horav Ari Groner from the Choshuve Menahalim in the Litvishe world.
