Yud Tes Kislev in Vancouver
There was a large turnout for the annual Yud Tes Kislev Celebration Dinner in Vancouver, BC. Around 100 people attended from around Vancouver, Richmond, Surrey and more. The Talmidei Hashluchim ran the event, from the MC, to making a Siyum on the Tanya and Shas.
The Head Shliach to Vancouver, Rabbi Y. Wineberg spoke about the advantage and point of what is Chassidus, and why we need it. The guest speaker was Rabbi Naftoli Astulin, who spoke about what the Rebbe said that everyone can change the world by increasing in even one small act of goodness and kindness. After he spoke, he gave out his famous $2 bills.
