Motorists who wish to park on President Street will find it much more difficult. Beginning this morning two new ‘No Parking Anytime’ signs have been posted in front of FREE, effectively eliminating four parking spots.
Once a week, Howard Weiss sits down in a cavernous study hall, buzzing with hundreds of teenagers studying ancient Jewish texts, and learns Tanya with Shneur Itzinger, a yeshivah student some 30 years his junior. Gabay calls Yoffie out on the issue of paid memberships versus Chabad’s free services, and Reform’s dwindling membership.
Tzfat’s Otzar HaStam is putting the final touches on it’s life-size sculpture celebration of the Alef-Beit: Gan HaOtiot. The center’s newest attraction features hand-crafted, massive sculptures of each Hebrew letter with artistic and depictive artwork, and arranged in a walk through garden that greets visitors.
