From The Editor: When It Comes To 770 There Are No Innocents, Everyone Is Guilty

Just over three weeks ago, the major story of the “tunnels” under 770 broke, leading every Lubavitcher to reexamine the way that they have dealt with some of the extreme elements in Chabad. As the dust settles, and cement dries, the question is now being asked “Will anything change?” Unfortunately, everyone continues to do what has always been done, pass the buck and refuse to take action.

Choosing Purpose over Pleasure, Young Jewish Professionals Volunteer in Israel

The young Jewish men and women who chose to come to the scene of one of the most horrific attacks in Jewish history were part of the Chabad Young Professionals (CYP) Mission to Israel. Organized by CYP’s chapter on New York City’s Upper East Side and including people from across the country, the group spent the week focusing on providing multifaceted support to the Israeli communities devastated in the wake of the attacks.

For Some Jewish Communities, the Safe Return of Hostages is Personal

Hostage Judith Ra’anan was born in Israel but moved to the United States 30 years ago. The now-59-year-old settled in Evanston, Ill., and is an active member of Chabad of Evanston, which has been advocating for the return of Judith and her 19-year-old daughter, Natalie, as well as supporting their extended family.
