Following the passing of the late Queen of England, Queen Elizabeth II, we share a video of the investiture of Rabbi Sudak by the Queen in 2001. There were many people there that day, yet those with a keen eye will notice some changes in protocol, for example that Rabbi Sudak wore his hat throughout the ceremony and how the Queen did not end the meeting with a handshake as is customary.

After 118 Years, Wisconsin Congregation to Move Into New Home

The ebbs and flows of Jewish life in smaller cities and towns across North America since the late 19th century have seen the rise and fall of many a synagogue structure and once-thriving community. Not so in Kenosha, Wis., where a plucky community bucked the trend by partnering with Chabad-Lubavitch and is now purchasing a light-filled facility nestled in 1.5 acres of tranquil gardens, gazebos and trails to replace an aging synagogue that has been shuttered since 2014.
