But on Saturday evening, workers pulled something out of the debris: the large metal Chanukah menorah that had once graced the synagogue sanctuary. First Chanukah Lighting at The World’s Largest Menorah in NYC with Eric Adams
This year, on the first night, Mayor Eric Adams addressed the crowd at the World’s Largest Menorah, followed by Israel’s United Nations Ambassador Gilad Erdan who then recited the three blessings on the first light of the menorah and lit the first candle.
