A Chabad Chossid driving in Eretz Yisroel came under direct gunfire from a terrorist, and despite having his car shot up, walked away miraculously uninjured.

According to media reports, Shmuel Reinitz, a Chabad chasid from Emanuel, was driving from Elon Moreh near Shechem when he found himself near a second vehicle driven by terrorosts.

“I was riding from Elon Moreh to Emanuel and I saw a small black car waiting on the left side of the road, Reinitz told Arutz Sheva. “I saw him make a U-turn, I thought I would hit him.”

As Reinitz continued driving, he pulled up alongside the car and saw a large barrel of a gun come out of the cars window.

“After I passed him, he pushed out the barrel of a large gun and began firing a number of shots, boom, boom, boom, I continued driving and fled the scene,” Reinitz explained.

“I told myself: everything’s OK, you’re not bleeding, the body is functioning the head, hands and eyes are functioning, I feel that nothing happened, and then I stopped and called police. The policewoman said that I should wait until security forces arrive and asked: “How do you feel? Are you injured? Do you need an ambulance? You had a great miracle.”

While Reinitz himself remained uninjured, his car showed the effect of the attack.

The bullets from the attack had shattered the cars rear passenger window and the back seet showed multiple bullet holes.

The terrorist was later captured by IDF forces and identified as 47-year-old Nasser Naqib, a resident of the Ascar refugee camp and former Fatah fighter who had been jailed in the past. Naqib’s son was also arrested.
