On the night before Pesach in 5746, not long after Bedikas Chometz, Rabbi C.M.I. Hodakov, known as the Rebbe’s “Chief of Staff”, was taken to the hospital. Later, as his grandson received a package from the Rebbe for his grandfather, the Rebbe gave him a piece of Matzah as “Schar Tircha”.
