At a farbrengen of the Rebbe about the need to expand 770, the Rebbe uses very sharp words about people who think that this project has nothing to do with them, rather to someone else. “This is from the reasons that the Beis Hamikdosh was destroyed, and if we don’t build it now, it’s as if we are also destroying the beis hamikdosh”.
