MOSCOW, Russia –- On the night of August 28, Russia’s Chief Rabbi Berel Lazar’s wife Chana gave birth to a daughter, the rabbi’s press service has informed Interfax.

Now the Lazars have 12 children – 5 boys: Jehezkel, 15; Menachem Mendel, 13; Sholom 12; Isroel Arie Leib, 9; Levi Itzhak, 8; and 7 girls: Bluma, 16; Fradel, 12; Dvorah Lea, 8; Sterna Sarah 6; Broha, 6, Rivka, 3; and their newly born sister.

The Tzfasman family will be sitting Shiva until Tuesday after the tragic and very untimely passing of their son and sibling HaBochur HaTomim Yisroel Noach OBM who was struck and killed L”A by a train. They will be sitting shiva at their home at 551 Crown St [between Kingston and Albany Ave].

Shachris will be at 9 AM, Mincha at 7 PM, followed by Maariv.

Chabad of Mequon, Wisconsin Welcomes new Safer Torah

MEQUON, WI [CHI] — This past Sunday a beautiful Siyum Sefer Torah Celebration took place at the Chabad Peltz Center for Jewish Life Mequon, Wisconsin. Over 200 filled the Agudas Achim Chabad Shul to participate in this historic event.

The Torah was donated by Dr. Dovid Chaim Maiman in memory of his mother, Baiyla (Belle) bas Mordechai Volf who passed away last year.

DRIVERS BEWARE! TAKE NOTE!

The intersection of Brooklyn Avenue and Lefferts Avenue has lately become a big source of income for the City of New York, as unsuspecting drivers make an illegal right turn from Brooklyn Ave onto Lefferts Ave.

Monday through Friday between 8:00am and 10:00am then again between 3:00pm and 5:00pm it is illegal to make that right turn. Regardless if it’s a school day or not.

It is with great sadness and pain we inform you of the tragic and very untimely passing of HaBochur HaTomim Yisroel Noach OBM ben Chaim Ezra Yibadel L’Chaim Tovim Tzfasman who was struck and killed L”A by a train this afternoon. He was 24 years old.

He is survived by his parents Reb Chaim Ezra and Dina Perla along with his brothers and sisters Yibadu L’Chaim Tovim.

The Levaya will take place Tomorrow, Wednesday and will be leaving from the Shomrei Hadaas Chapel at around 1:00pm and will be passing by 770 at around 1:30pm
