Danish and Sderot kids unite in overnight camp
COPENHAGEN, Denmark [CHI] — The Gan Yisroel overnight camp of ChabaDenmark, a two week camp which takes place in both the summer and the winter, hosted 20 children from Sderot.
The Sderot kids coming to Denmark, was organized through chabad of Sderot, Rabbi Pizam and was sponsored by ChabaDenmark through local donors, of both private people and organizations.

CERT Activated for the First Time
CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — Friday afternoon a fire broke out in a building on the corner of Washington Avenue and Lincoln Road in Crown Heights, the fire quickly escaladed all the way up to a 6 alarm fire and forced the evacuation of the entire apartment building, which consists of 84 apartments. When the fire was finally placed under control the building had sustained significant damage and residents were not allowed to return to their homes.

The agenda whereby a woman wants to bring the independent entity of her last name to the home should be reconsidered. If there is a message that the woman is an independent entity and the husband is an independent entity, this does not unite the home into a whole home.”
There is no denying that amongst Chabad-Lubavitch young woman, this has become a very popular and ever growing trend.

Just recently, the Chief Rabbi of Israel, Rabbi Yonah Metzger, publicly raised the issue of married woman who continue to use their maiden names, in both formats, either independently or hyphenated after their husband’s family name. He came under much criticism for doing so.

Mid-Atlantic Regional Kinus HaShluchim
WILMINGTON, DE [CHI] — Last week Sunday the Regional Conference of the Mid-Atlantic Shluchim opened in Wilmington, Delaware which included Shluchim from the states of Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Virginia.
65 Shluchim took part in the conference that lasted two days. The Shluchim attended lectures, workshops and various forums concerning Shlichus.
