Ukraine Jewish School Produces Graduating Class
DNEPRODZERZHINSK, Ukraine [FJC] — In the Ukrainian city of Dneprodzerzhinsk, the Ohr Avner Chabad Day School hosted its final event of the academic year – a ceremony to mark the conclusion of studies for its graduates. After eleven years of schooling and equipped with a solid Jewish upbringing, these youth are now ready to embark on their unique individual paths.

CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] – A bizarre scene unfolded earlier this Tuesday morning, at around 11:00am a city bus pulled to a stop on Crown and Kingston alongside a few Community Policing Officers and the driver asked them for help with removing a passenger, a Black female who was spitting, being loud and did not pay the bus fair.

The Bat Sheva~Chaya Esther Mikvah was built in memory of Bat Sheva ob”m Kanelsky, an innocent infant taken from this world after only 65 days, and Rebbetzin Chaya Esther ob”m Zaltzman, a righteous woman who was tragically taken, on Erev Yom Kippur, in a horrific car accident. This Mikvah was built to give life to their legacies, as well as to provide a luxurious spa-like mikvah for the use of the Jewish community of New Jersey.

LOS ANGELES, CA [CHI] — Family and friends came to rejoice and share their good wishes amongst hundreds of guests as 29 talmidim ka’h from Kollel Tiferes Menachem in Los Angeles celebrated a gala Chag HaSmicha on Wednesday 15 Sivan. Hailing from Australia, England and across the States, parents came to radiate with pride as their sons reached this distinguishing milestone.

New Shluchim to North Carolina
Rabbi Yosef and Hindy (nee Zaklos) Plotkin of Crown Heights will IYH be moving on Shlichus to Greensboro, North Carolina, where they will establish a new Chabad House serving Jews in the area.
The new Shluchim were appointed by Rabbi Yossi Groner head Shliach to the Carolina’s.

He was an outstanding scholar. A builder of enormous institutions. A world-class orator. The head of a large and prosperous family. A devoted disciple of the Lubavitcher Rebbe who spent 50 years heading Chabad in Australia.

SOUTH FALLSBURG, NY [CHI] — This past Shabbos hundreds of Chassidim from various krayzen joined together to hear Reb Yoel Kahan Farbreng in honor of Gimmel Tammuz. Mei Menuchos, a Lubavitcher Bungalow colony in South Fallsburg which is surrounded by several Chassidishe camps and bungalow colonies, hosted the Shiurim and Chassidishe Farbrengen which lasted all afternoon.

Over 1000 at 3 Tammuz Farbrengen in Tarzana
TARZANA, CA [CHI] — More than 1000 men and women participated Sunday evening (last night) in the largest Gimmel Tammuz Farbrengen in the State at the Chabad of the Valley Headquarters in Tarzana, California, where they watched a video about the Rebbe and heard various inspirational talks from the local Shluchim including master of ceremonies was Rabbi Mordechai Einbinder and Rabbi Yehoshua Binyomin Gordon.
