Alleged Accident Escalates to Road Rage Fueled Fight

The bus driver being treated by Hatzalah.

CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — A school bus driver dropping off children from day camp was involved in an altercation stemming from an escalated road rage incident. The incident took place on Eastern Parkway in the service lane between Kingston and Albany at around 4:00pm where a car that was parked blocking a fire hydrant and obstructing traffic claimed the bus hit his car.

The bus driver stepped off the bus to inspect the ‘damage’ then got back on the bus to turn on his stop signals. The driver of the illegally parked car took that as an attempt of the bus driver to ‘flee’ the scene and a heated argument and scuffling ensued, leaving the driver of the bus with bloody toes.
