At 10:54pm Tuesday night, the emergency hotline at Crown Heights Shomrim rang. A Jewish man on Montgomery Street had just been assaulted and robbed, and he needed help now. Just one minute later, one of Shomrim’s new response vehicle was pulling up with multiple more volunteers on the way.
Citi Bike is Set To Hike Prices Starting This Week
The bike-sharing company said it’s increasing prices “to support our growing operations and continued expansion.” The annual membership increases from $205 to $219.99 a year on Jan. 29, and other Citi Bike prices will increase starting on Thursday.
