BROOKLYN, NY [CHI] — This years Jewish Learning Institutes conference took place in the heart of Brooklyn, in the halls of the Polytechnic University in the Metrotech Center.
Departing from the normal multi-day conference this year it was packed in to one solid day of sessions without the burdens transportation to distant hotels or resorts, a move which was met with enthusiasm from the Shluchim in attendance.

LONDON England [CHI] — Earlier this week at the home of Mohel Rabbi Yossi Simon there was a triple Pidyon Haben for 3 boys, ages 7-years-old, 11-months-old and 9-months-old! Each boy had a separate Kohen to redeem them.

A raffle was held at the end of the event, Arik Raskin of Crown Heights won the $18,000 raffle. Tickets were available for purchase on Hatzalah's website Hatzalah.ch, the proceeds of which benefit Hatzalah by enabling them to purchase necessary medical equipment and maintain it.
