A New Torah to Make the Spirit Grow

Torah Dedicated in Memory of Chana (Raskin) Wolvovsky OBM
This Wednesday, Tes Tamuz, marks the first Yartzeit of Chana (Raskin) Wolvovsky, who was tragically taken from us in the prime of her life.
Last Sunday, Chana’s life was eternalized as a Torah was dedicated in her memory, by the Chabad Jewish Center of Rancho S. Fe, California.
The new Shluchim were brought out by Rabbi Levi Klein of Chabad Lubavitch of Tennessee.
Chattanooga is the fourth-largest city in Tennessee and counts over 3,000 local jews.

Rabbi Shaul and his wife Rosie (nee Duchman) Pearlstein of Crown Heights will IYH be moving out on Shlichus to Chattanooga, Tennessee where they will take on the duties as Shluchim and local Rabbi in the city.

Her parents wanted to give the girl and her five siblings a chance to spend quality time with their extended family in Kfar Chabad and Jerusalem, but not long after the wedding, Chaya Mushka complained of extreme headaches and of not feeling well in general. Tests revealed the worst.
Seven-Year-Old Daughter of Chabad Emissaries in Bangkok Passes Away
Classmates and teachers of a young Jewish girl who succumbed to a brain tumor remembered her for a maturity beyond her years and a profound love of Jewish people the world over. Chaya Mushka Ashkenazi, who passed away June 17 at Tel Hashomer Hospital in Tel Aviv, was the daughter of Rabbi Chaim Eliezer and Rochel Ashkenazi, Chabad-Lubavitch emissaries in Bangkok, Thailand, since 2000. She was 7.

Oholei Torah Classmates Reunite After 20 Years
CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — Gimmel Tammuz is typically a time where all Chabad Chasidim go to the Rebbe’s Ohel and along the way many Lubavitchers will see others they haven’t seen in some time, however for one group of friends seeing each other on Gimmel Tammuz wasn’t something that was going to happen by accident or fortuitously, it was a long prior planned reunion of the 8th grade Oholei Torah of the year 5748/1988.
