GIFFNOCK, Scotland [CHI] — Supporters of the ‘Shul in the Park’ mounted their bikes and together rode a total of 20 miles, starting out from Giffnock, and on through Fenwick Moors than back through Eaglesham. The ride was to raise funds for the youth events in the Shul at the Park.
Bike Ride to Aid Shul in Glasgow
GIFFNOCK, Scotland [CHI] — Supporters of the ‘Shul in the Park’ mounted their bikes and together rode a total of 20 miles, starting out from Giffnock, and on through Fenwick Moors than back through Eaglesham. The ride was to raise funds for the youth events in the Shul at the Park.
Organizing the event was Shliach Rabbi Mendel Jacobs [pictured on the far left], who also lead the group on his own bike.
Cheering at the finish line was the crowd who awaited the cyclists with refreshments and a barbeque.
