NEW YORK [NY1] — The toy retailer Toys R Us is urging customers to turn in potentially unsafe children's products, as it launches its second “Great Trade-In” event.

From now through February 20, customers can bring in used cribs, strollers, high chairs and play pens among other baby items.

Yud Shevat at Rabbi O’s – YNS Tzfas

The mivtza for Yud Shevat was announced by the shluchim a month before Yud Shevat. The mivtza consisted of brochos before chassidus, chitas, seder sichos twice a week, history of the Rebbeim and a daily quiz on that days chumash. The bochurim were eligible to win weekly trips such as jeeping, dinner at a chinese restaurant, ice skating and bowling and a two night three day stay at Hotel Lavi with the shluchim. The grand raffle of the mivtza was a laptop and each bochur who successfully entered this raffle was also given 150 shekels. To gain entry into the grand raffle bochurim were tested on Basi Legani 5711. Mazel tov to Habochur Hatomim Yosef Yitzchok Simpson upon winning the laptop!

After reading many articles regarding product recalls, it made me wonder if only an object can fail to accomplish its goal or if “recalls” can pertain to people as well.

“A recall is an effort to limit liability for corporate negligence and to improve or avoid damage to publicity.” (Wikipedia)

As we grow, we are constantly looking for ways to improve ourselves and as we face different challenges, we hopefully become smarter and stronger.
