With sadness we report the untimely passing of Mrs. Chedva Fraida Teichman OBM, of Tveria, after a devastating illness.

Mrs. Teichman is survived by her husband Rabbi Berel, children R. Yosef Yitzchok, R. Yisroel and R. Shmuel of Crown Heights, R. Mendel (Uzhgorod, Ukraine), R. Schneur (Tzfas) Mrs. Chani Klein (Kiryat Gat), Mrs. Tova Jacobowitz (Boro Park), Mrs. Rochel Niselevitz and Mrs. Devorah Laya Lipsker (Nachlas Har Chabad), Mrs. Miri Lider (NY) and siblings.

The levaya will leave from the Rambam’s kever in Tveria at 1:00 p.m., continuing to the Chabad chelka in Tzfas. Shiva will be observed at the Teichman home, 9 Alchadif Street, Tveria.

On the 10th of Tevet of the year 3336 from Creation (425 BCE), the armies of the Babylonian emperor Nebuchadnezzar laid siege to Jerusalem. Thirty months later — on Tammuz 9, 3338 — the city walls were breached, and on Av 9th of that year, the Holy Temple was destroyed. The Jewish people were exiled to Babylonia for 70 years.
