On Monday, Chassidim the world over will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Rebbe’s Nesius. During the years that marked the decades of the Rebbe’s leadership, the Rebbe gave special recognition to the celebrations of the Chassidim marking the special year. Many times the Rebbe would expound upon the importance of the number of that years anniversary.

At 1:30 AM on Tuesday Jan 19, 2010 – Gimmel Shvat in the Hebrew calendar, our father, Rabbi Yosef Tevel passed away. He was 55 years old and it was his birthday. His sudden death, caused by a bursted blood vessel in his brain has left us in complete shock.

The initiative is aimed at promoting safe driving. In a statement, the NYPD said “texting or talking on a cell phone is dangerous and endangers both drivers and pedestrians.”
