During Merkos Shlichus summer program the roving Rabbis, Moshe Frank and Berri spitezki, who are in South Korea, met this week with Mr. Thomas Kupfer the Swiss ambassador to South Korea who happens to be Jewish. The rabbis were invited to the Ambassadors home and during their visit handed him a Mezuzah.

CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — It sounded like two cars collided, when in fact it was a person that was struck and sent flying down Empire this afternoon. The incident took place in front of 675 Empire Boulevard where an elderly Jewish man was crossing, and was struck by a passing SUV.

Lebanon Says Three Soldiers Killed in Clash with IDF

Three Lebanese soldiers were killed in clashes with Israeli troops today, Tuesday. The Lebanese say the conflict began when the IDF attempted to uproot a tree on their side of the border. Whiles israeli reports say that the IDF was performing maintenance work across the fence, but still within Israeli territory.
