Rabbi R. has accepted and felt proud to represent Chabad and the Rebbe’s Shluchim at the ceremony; However, many Lubavitchers feel this very same ceremony is in direct opposition to the Rebbe’s stance on the 5th of Iyar and all the celebrations in conjunction with that day.
