A Beis Rivka school bus filled with children on their way to school this morning sideswiped a garbage truck as they were traveling alongside each other on Eastern Parkway. Thankfully no one was injured and neither vehicle sustained significant damage. Hatzalah was summoned as a precaution and ensured that all the children were okay.

Several broken gravestones lay on the grass on July 22, 2012 in the local Jewish cemetery of Kaposvar, about 200 km south-west from Budapest as fifty-seven graves were desecrated by vandals.
Vandals have desecrated 57 tombs containing the remains of around 250 people at a Jewish cemetery in Hungary, Jewish groups said Monday.

The Torah states, “Guard yourself and guard your soul very much (Deut. 4:9)” and “You shall guard yourselves very well (Deut. 4:15).” The Sages explain that these verses refer to the mitzvah of protecting one's physical health.
