Update: Rabbi Refuses to Debate Hungarian Nationalist

In an interview with The Algemeiner, Rabbi Shlomo Koves, the Hungarian Chabad Rabbi who was challenged to a debate this week by Gabor Vona, leader of Jobbik, a Hungarian nationalist party, has outright declined the request.

Hailing from overseas and across the United States, parents and relatives came to radiate with pride as their sons reached this distinguished milestone. Just a few days after a far-right Hungarian politician discovered his Jewish roots, the leader of his political party challenged a Chabad rabbi to a debate.

Monsey Cheder Welcomes New Preschool Director
Cheder Chabad of Monsey has welcomed a new Preschool director, Mrs. Yona Lazarus. Mrs. Lazarus comes with almost 30 years of teaching experience, six of which she served as a director of her respective department, including extensive experience in teaching, educational administration, teacher training and community leadership.
