The ‘Mitzvah Tank’ RV, run by the Chabad Lubavitch, travels the streets in search of Jewish people who will agree to join in a brief religious activity. ‘The purpose,’ said Rabbi Levi Baumgarten, ‘is to bring your heritage to your doorstep.’

PSA: ULY ‘Chanukah Mania’ to Take Place Monday

The annual ‘Chanukah Mania’ carnival will be held on Monday, December 26 at United Lubavitcher Yeshiva, 570 Crown Street from 12:00 to 3:00 PM. The event will feature the Torah Tots, and the Hoop Wizard as well as other entertainment. Entrance fee is $8 per child or $30 per family.

Matisyahu apologized for attacking a female photographer at a concert Wednesday. During his ‘Festival of Light’ Hanukkah performance in Brooklyn, photographer Rebecca Smyne was allegedly kicked in the face by the star as he tried to kick her camera out of her hand because he found the flash distracting.
