Jew or not, it’s a tragedy and I hope her family at least gets justice from seeing the fleeing scum behind bars. I was hit by a car a few weeks ago and the guy fled the scene. I was lucky enough to get his plate number, yet when I filed the police report and gave him the plate number of offender, the cop told me, “to be honest with you, we won’t really track down the guy who hit you, because it’s not like he killed anyone”. Now you wonder why people flee scenes! Again, may Hashem console family of victim.
