Every year for the the past twenty years, the Rebbe’s birthday has been celebrated on Yud Aleph Nissan with a Mitzvah Tank parade around the city, and this year is no different. Sixty-two tanks – corresponding to the sixty two years of the Rebbe’s leadership – will be parading from Lubavitch World Headquarters at 770 Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn, reaching all the way to Manhattan.

550 Students Volunteer to Lead Pesach Sedorim

Merkos Shlichus preparations for Pesach 5772 are currently in full gear. Following two days of non-stop interviews with Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky and those who applied, the Merkos Shlichus vaad has been working non-stop to assign the applicants to their Seder locations. So far, over 550 student Rabbis have been volunteered to lead sedorim in over 190 cities all over the world.
