Shalach Manos mania has begun st the United Lubavitch Yeshiva on Crown Street. Parents and staff started working tirelessly to put together deluxe sumptuous baskets and packages to delight families and friends while supporting the yeshiva (these festive presents will be available for sale shortly).
On Tuesday evening, a special talk at the Besht Center empowered and inspired young Crown Heightsers on the path to success. Jay Blumenstein met Chabad-Lubavitch Rabbi Yonah and Keren Blum back in 1997, when they lived in a small apartment on Manhattan’s 110th Street. On Wednesday, 22 Shvat 1988, Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka passed away after a brief illness. The Rebbetzin felt unwell and was rushed to the hospital. Upon arrival she asked for a glass of water, said the Brocho “Shehakol Nihiya Bidvaro,” and returned her soul to its Creator.
Not long after last week‘s violence in 770, ‘Tzfati’ terrorism has struck again. The latest target: An organized group of girls from Israel visiting for the occasion of chof beis shvat.
