The following is an incident that occurred On Shushan Purim, Friday, March 9th 2012.

I wasn’t planning to write about this since I initially figured this was solely a private matter. After replaying it in my mind and talking about it with friends and family, I realized that it is should be shared with others too, since it wasn’t about my family and me personally, but rather it happened to us because we are Jewish, making it relevant to any Jew.

Worries over Iranian Jews if Israel Attacks

Gala Celebration for 23 Years of Shlichus Down Under

Having literally landed in the early hours of the morning and without sleep going on 30 hours, Mrs. Fruma Schapiro returned from addressing the Kinus Hashluchos in New York to immediately greet her congregants and Baalei Baatim at the annual gala dinner of Chabad of the North Shore, Australia. It was a magnificent evening celebrating 23 years of incredible spiritual growth and expansion of the St.Ives and North Shore Jewish community.

[3:50pm EST] Hatzalah has just notified us that all regular emergency numbers have been restored and are now working properly.

The temporary number can now be discarded and everyone is asked to resume using the regular numbers (718) 387-1750 or (718) 230-1000. Hatzalah also asked that people DO NOT try to 'check out' if it is working.
