U/D ALERT: Hatzalah’s Emergency Hotlines RESTORED

[3:50pm EST] Hatzalah has just notified us that all regular emergency numbers have been restored and are now working properly.

The temporary number can now be discarded and everyone is asked to resume using the regular numbers (718) 387-1750 or (718) 230-1000. Hatzalah also asked that people DO NOT try to ‘check out’ if it is working.

[2:15pm EST] Central Hatzalah’s main emergency phone lines are currently not working, callers are alerted with a message “the number you called is not in service”. Hatzlah is aware of the problem and are working feverishly to have it repaired.

A new temporary emergency number has been set up for emergencies ONLY: (718) 998-8775

Hatzalah has requested that people DO NOT try to call the regular emergency lines ((718) 387-1750 or (718) 230-1000) “just to try it out.”
