On Sunday tens of thousands of Jews from all around the tri-state area gathered in upper Manhattan to express Jewish pride and support for Israel at the annual Israel Day Parade. As wherever large numbers of Jews are present, Chabad Chassidim where there to help any Jew who wished put on Tefilin.

Thousands of Russian Jews Welcome New Center

Despite a bleak forecast of strong wind and rain, a celebration was held at the Montreal Chabad Center for Russian immigrants to dedicate the newly renovated building and welcome a new Sefer torah for the Shul inside – all in beautiful weather.

YG Students Enjoy Shabbaton at Winter Resort

On Shabbos Parshas Nasso, students of the Rabbinical College of Australia & New Zealand (YG) in Melbourne enjoyed a mid-winter Shabbaton, arranged by the Yeshiva’s Shluchim. The Shabbaton took place at Log Cabin Camp, a rustic bush resort located at scenic Creswick, a two hour drive from Melbourne.
