Tomorrow (Tuesday) Bonei Olam of Crown Heights is hosting its 2nd annual auction to raise much needed funds for those experiencing the nisayon of infertility. Bonei Olam has helped over 3,000 Jewish couples achieve the dream of becoming a family by providing hundreds of thousands of dollars in financial assistance for medical costs and insurance.

Video: Tire Thieves in Action

A home security surveillance video caught footage of the thieves who made off with a minivan’s tires on President St. two days ago. The thieves can [barely] be seen in the top right corner of the video, arriving in what seems to be a black Nissan or Infinity. They arrived in two trips, taking the left tires first and then returning for the right ones. The theft occurred between 2:00 and 5:00am.

New Hampshire’s ‘Jew Pond’ Officially Renamed

The small New Hampshire pond drew national attention with an effort to change its name from Jew Pond.

Jew Pond, an unassuming human-made body of water in New Hampshire that nonetheless became a center of controversy, will henceforth be known as Carleton Pond.
