Love how Short and Entertaining this is. Will find it useful to show mikuravim.

  • love these videos

Cute video! thanks for the reference to the mikvah calendar at the end. I checkd it out and want to start using it. seems simple enough, Jew in the city, keep ’em coming!

  • Impressed

Very nice way of showing mikva in a non threatening, positive way. The app she said she uses is also very simple to use and really helps with keeping taharas hamishpacha.

  • A big fan.

The video is cute and a great way of teaching women aboit mikvah. I love milvahcalendar.com also. So easy to use!

  • agree with # 3

i totally agree with # 3. seriously this is really not appropriate for girls. my 11 yr old niece just asked my sister if its all really true! like seriously maybe think that children also look at this website?!?!!!

  • # 3 Yes! Women AND Girls!

it’s appropriate for girls as well… to show them what mikva is all about, since they will need to know it as they turn to be women! Education! Education! Education! Amen!

  • Chana

Great video but a little insensitive to those who do not have children yet. It implies that someone without children is on a lower spiritual level which only makes their matzav more difficult.

  • great, but...a bit of corrective....

The video is excellent, but imho when describing that a woman uses the time to pray/personal thoughts during the time of immersion, the model should not be wearing eye shadow.

  • To # 9

There is no reason for girls to know about this way before they really have to know about it. I didn’t know much about it till I was engaged. When I learned about it I got so stressed and nervous. Bh I learned to have appreciation for this beautiful mitzvah. I can just imagine this stressing girls out. Why should they have to be so stressed at a young age? Everyone should learn about it in the right time and not prematurely!

Very nice video. IMO, I think it’s appropriate for girls. I don’t want my daughters to the the idea that Mikvah is something secretive and scary. It’s a special part of growing up and getting married…why not let them understand? Oh, and I love JITC!

  • Timing is everything

Thanks for the video. This is so non threatening and at the same time informative. Mikvahcalendar.com is awesome and sooo easy to understand.

  • Thanks for the knowledge

#12, it is unfortunate that you were stressed out. I understand how you feel as I’ve had a similar experience but wouldn’t it be wiser for a girl to learn earlier than later so that she isn’t kept in the dark? I did not like being kept in the dark and had to learn about “things” from other girls.

I agree with other posters. Girls are not as naive as you think!
